Farmageddon - Shaun the Sheep takes a giant leap for all ovine.

Writer: Denise BreenDenise Breen

3.5 out of 5

When an alien with amazing powers crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun the Sheep goes on a mission to shepherd the intergalactic visitor home before a sinister organization can capture her. If it sounds like the plot of ET, well it is and along the way we have jokes and references to Doctor Who, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The X-Files, but mostly ET.

Aardman Animations have earned a place of trust. From Wallace and Gromit to Shaun the Sheep, the Bristol-based studio rarely set a foot wrong. Their films are lovingly made with incredible attention to detail and sharp humour. I’m a fan and so I came to the second Shaun the Sheep film with high expectations which were, I’m glad to report, met. I laughed, I tittered, I laughed some more.

We’re in safe hands with Aardman.

Go see this. Bring the kids. They’ll have a laugh and so will you.
